Skin firming

Non-ablative skin lifting in the SMOOTH mode is recommended for patients who need a deeper treatment and the effect of firming and smoothing the skin.

The SMOOTH mode allows for non-ablative laser skin modeling based on controlled damage and stimulation of collagen renewal, without affecting the continuity of the epidermis and dermis. During the procedure, collagen fibers shrink and new collagen is formed, which contributes to improving the elasticity of the treated tissues.
Thanks to the subsequent processes of remodeling and stimulation of the production of new collagen, the skin becomes tighter and smoother.
SMOOTH is the only laser treatment that can be performed on the upper and lower eyelids!

How does the device work?
The SMOOTH mode is based on a beam (group) of pulses from the Fotona Er:YAG laser in the SP mode.
The SMOOTH mode works gently and non-ablatively on the skin, without bleeding and with controlled temperature distribution.
Optical energy is delivered in an unusual pulse sequence of less than a second, which prevents an increase in surface temperature and allows for uniform heating within a few hundred micrometers of tissue.
With rejuvenating treatments in the SMOOTH mode, it is important to evenly cover the treatment area. To obtain an effective temperature, it is necessary to give pulses 2-4 times per point. Basically, 2 passes are made at an angle of approx. 90° to each other.
