Erythema removal

Tiny broken blood vessels are often a serious aesthetic problem. In order to reduce them, appropriately selected laser energy and wavelength should be used.

The FOTONA neodymium-yag laser with a wavelength of 1064 nm emits the deepest penetrating beam on the market, thanks to which it is able to destroy large-diameter blood vessels, including those deeply hidden under the skin. Its monochromatic, unidirectional and selective action ensures the highest efficiency and minimizes the risk of tissue damage.

The laser generates a beam of light with precisely selected parameters. This allows changes to be made within the tissue. This process is called photothermolysis. During the treatment, the emitted light energy is absorbed by the blood pigment (hemoglobin) and then converted into heat. As a result of the temperature, the water in the vessels is evaporated, and the vessels themselves are coagulated, where they are absorbed by the body at a later stage.

Indications for the procedure

  • Telangiectasias (dilated blood vessels on the face)
  • Redness on the face

    Effects of action
  • Redness reduction
  • Smoothing and refreshing the skin
  • Tension and increase in skin elasticity after the treatment

    Important after surgery

In some cases, the erythema intensifies, but it lasts from several hours to a maximum of several days

Give up more invasive cosmetics, including soap and cosmetics with alcohol, for a few days.
Do not exfoliate for 7-10 days.
Avoid hot baths and saunas for 2 weeks.
Do not tan your skin for a month and use the highest UV protection

    Contraindications

  • Pregnancy and breastfeeding
  • Active skin diseases
  • Active skin infection
  • Damaged skin
  • Waxing
  • Albinism
  • Tendency to discoloration and keloids
  • Use of steroids
  • Use of retinoids (6 months before the procedure)
  • Blood clotting disorders
  • Epilepsy
  • Cancer
  • Pacemaker
  • Hormonal diseases
  • Viral infections (HIV, hepatitis)
  • Active autoimmune diseases (systemic lupus, scleroderma)
  • Peels
  • Tan (too much accumulated melanin absorbs a large dose of energy, which can cause skin discoloration). Do not sunbathe (sun, solarium) for 4 weeks before and 4 weeks after the procedure
  • The use of photosensitizing herbs, e.g. marigold, chamomile, St. John's wort (discontinue 2-3 weeks before the procedure)
  • Photosensitizing drugs (retinoids, tetracyclines)
  • Consumption of alcohol a day before the procedure
  • Use of alcohol-based cosmetics
