What does dental surgery do?


Dental surgery is a branch of dentistry that includes a whole range of procedures in the area of the oral cavity.
Dental surgery is not only the surgical removal of teeth, but also bone tissue reconstruction surgery and soft tissue microsurgery, which prepare the oral cavity for specialist treatment, e.g. implant placement, prosthetic procedures or endodontics.

The most frequently performed procedures in our office:

- extractions (removal of teeth) also of impacted and unerupted, supernumerary and additional teeth
- revealing teeth retained in the arch
- plasty of connections with the maxillary sinus
- Wisdom tooth extractions
- resection of the root apex
- preparation of the oral cavity for prosthetic and orthodontic treatment - cutting the frenulum
- surgical removal of impacted teeth
- hemisections
- clinical crown lengthening
- implant placement
